We’ve just completed installation of furniture we design and made for a photographer and artist’s studio. All made from 200mm x 25mm Southern Yellow Pine planks.

We’ve just finished a commission for a pair of oak speak stands. The levelling conical dowel feet can be adjusted via a discreet grub screw in the inside corner of the frame connecting the base of the uprights together. We deliberately designed these to avoid the customary tall chrome spikes with adjustable nut fixings typical on high end speaker stands, for a quieter less ‘high tec’ character.

We’ve just installed 9 tall furniture pieces that we’ve developed and fabricated for Mary Duggan Architect’s Old Rectory project in the City. All freestanding leaning units that enclose air handling equipment within the various rooms throughout the building.

We developed a lockable glazed vitrine tray for Niwaki as an addition to the exhibition and showroom display system we designed for them several years back. Made from vertical grain Douglas Fir, the tray incorporates a lockable hinged glass lid for use as part of retail concessions.

We’re working with Mary Duggan Architects again on to develop and make a series of large freestanding furniture pieces for their project at the Old Rectory in the City of London. Made from white tinted and oiled Radiata Pine with chamfered detailing that nods to the history of the building in which they stand.

We are pleased to announce the formation of our new company partnership.
After almost 10 years of Jack working with together with Simon a change to the business was overdue.
Simon Jones Studio has now become Jones Neville Ltd.
We’ll still continue to work in much the same way as before, but the nature of our collaborative partnership is now more accurately reflected in the name of our studio.

Raven Row - Gianfranco Baruchello: Incidents of Lesser Account

We’ve just finished working with the curators at Raven Row on the design of the final exhibition before the gallery ‘takes a sabbatical’. In addition to assisting with the more traditional hanging throughout the gallery rooms, we designed this group of temporary wall panels which are braced between floor and ceiling by dowel posts. The three angled planes create a new and varied sequence of spaces and vistas, but also individual backgrounds for a series of large works to be viewed singularly.
The Design Museum - Atrium display system

We have just installed the first parts of a modular display system that we designed and fabricated for the central atrium space in the new Design Museum. The project addresses the issue of how to mount changing public displays of 2D and 3D objects against the buildings oak veneered wall linings.

A temporary pavilion showcasing Niwaki's Japanese tools, Niwaki's stand was awarded four stars at Chelsea Flower Show this year. Made with a Douglas fir structure, the silver fleece membrane covering the roof protects from rain and sun in equal measure.

We built and installed new furniture for the Allied Editions stand and Frieze London which we design each year. Supplementing the existing family of poplar display furniture are a pair of long island units with linoleum surfaces and plenty of hidden storage behind sliding painted ply doors.

We designed, fabricated and installed Wrong for Hay's exhibition showcasing their lighting collection at this years Design Junction in London.
