Jo Spence: Work (Part 1 & Part 2) exhibition, London

Retrospective split over 2 galleries: Space Gallery, London E8 & Studio Voltaire, London SW4.
Exhibition dates: Part 1 - 1st June to 15th July 2012; Part II - 13th June to 11th August 2012

A major retrospective of photographer Jo Spence (1934 - 1992) held across two venues in London.

The design of the show aimed to reflect the direct nature of the touring exhibitions (often in community buildings rather than traditional gallery spaces) the work was originally exhibited. The same elements are used to create similar layouts in both galleries to give a consistency to the two phases of work displayed.
